Byron Shire Kase-Ha Shotokan Karate & Self Defence is a passionate martial arts academy active in and around Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers of NSW Australia. With eight weekly classes held in our Bangalow Dojo, covering all skill levels from beginners to advanced, our Academy offers an atmosphere of both intense training and camaraderie under the expert tutelage of Chief Instructor Sensei Jean Boussard, 4th Dan Kase-Ha Shotokan with over 55 years martial arts experience, assisted by some very good Black Belts: Senseis Ben Ruble (Kase-Ha Sandan) and Fabio Quijano (Nidan), and Sempais Stephen Lawrence and Pierre Albertini (Shodan) as well as senior colour belts.
